Síntesis	Brasil y Chile acuerdan la profundización de preferencias a diversos productos y asimismo, incorporan el entendimiento bilateral para el intercambio de productos del Sector Automotor, cuyo objetivo final es el libre comercio a partir de 2006.

	Cláusulas de vigencia	Artículo 3°.- El presente Protocolo entrará en vigor bilateralmente, en la fecha en que la República Federativa del Brasil, conjuntamente con la República de Chile, lo hayan incorporado a su derecho interno, en los términos de sus respectivas legislaciones. Las Partes Signatarias comunicarán a la Secretaría General de la ALADI el cumplimiento de los trámites correspondientes.
