This paper (*) was prepared in accordance with the Action Programme of the ALADI General Secretariat in favour of Paraguay, within the scope of the Supporting System for the Relatively Less Economically Developed Countries, and aims at analyzing the impact of the CAN (Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela) - MERCOSUR Agreement (ACE 59) and the Peru-MERCOSUR Agreement (ACE 58) on the Paraguayan exports to such markets.

The ALADI General Secretariat hopes that this paper becomes a useful instrument of reflection and a methodological tool for evaluating the impact of the signing of trade agreements at a considerable level of disaggregation.
