This paper aims at presenting the treatment of the ALADI member countries to Statistics of Transport, identifiying the main variables of measurement and recognizing the aspects that require analysis and work regarding the homogenisation of the information presented for all them. All this considering the preparation project of a Regional System of Statistics of Transport that compiles data and presents them in a uniform and complete way in order for them to become a regional consultation reference.

This study was prepared with information available on the Web Sites of the Ministries of Transport, National Statistics Institutes and Directorates-General of Transport of the ALADI member countries.
