In order to receive the preferential treatments established by the agreements subscribed under cover of the 1980 Montevideo Treaty and pursuant to the General Regime of Origin, goods shall be certified as meeting the origin requirements.
Either the final producer or the exporter shall fill out the certificate of origin, which shall be certified by either a government department or a private agency officially recognized or entitled by the government of the exporting country to certify origin.
The General Secretariat of the ALADI keeps an updated record of these government departments and private agencies of all member countries, as well as of the authorized officers and their respective holographic signature.
It is possible to access this record by clicking the name of each country in the following chart, which also displays the date and code number of the last official modifying document.

b) The alphabetical list of departments/agencies of the selected country displays:
- Name and address of the department/agency
- A list with four columns, which displays, in the first column the name of the employee, in the second, the document of the respective Representation communicating his/her authorization/dismissal, issued as informative document of the General Secretariat, i.e., ALADI/CR/di, and, in the third and fourth columns, the authorization/dismissal dates, respectively.
